The Long Ass Bio

OH NO I SAID "ASS." I must be awful.

But I'm nice enough to make things easier for you by breaking down the bio in categories.


SCHOOL
Well, I am from the San Jose and I am spending nearly a fifth of my life in San Luis Obispo to attend California Polytechnic State University. I originally was pursuing a degree in Computer Science but now I am aiming for a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communication with a concentration in graphics for packaging and a minor in packaging. It was the best decision I have ever made. It is crazy how much more enjoyable college is when you actually like your major.


DESIGN AESTHETICS
I love simple sleek design as well as crazy colorful pieces. I make things that fall under both categories, and I often have a bright color. I love Swiss design and am inspired by amazing package design. I often go to grocery stores to stand in the beauty aisle to stare at skin care packaging for hours. I get overly excited for those kind of products. Seriously--too excited.


CSC BACKGROUND
I was in the Computer Science major for about two years. From this, I am a bit familiar with C and Java. My programming background has made me more technical and analytical. It also makes it a little bit easier to learn new languages. It was fun (sort of) while it lasted but I knew it wasn't the right career for me.

Also, because of CSC, I am a big fan of linux and hope more people know they have another choice of an operating system. The systems I have used are Slackware with KDE, Debian with XFCE, and now I've been pretty stable with Ubuntu with Gnome.

Switching to the new major pushed me to buy a Mac which I now really enjoy. I spend a lot of time now searching for software to improve productivity on both systems or my iPhone. I also have too much fun with that.


NOT SCHOOL OR CAREER RELATED
As mentioned earlier, I am obsessed with skincare.. I love going to the grocery store and staring at the skincare products, even though they are the same products I saw the week before. I love reading the descriptions and the goods telling me that they'll deeply clean my pores. I love staring at bright fun packaging or simple classic designs of the products and how I love both designs. I have too much fun with the simple act of applying skincare products to my face.

Other than skincare, I also really enjoy playing video games! I mostly play Nintendo games and I am very picky with playing only console based games. Most of the games I play are DS games since I cannot afford a Wii or other consoles at the moment. I love Super Smash Bros,The World Ends with You, Time Crisis, Paper Mario, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Ace Attorney Series, Phantom of the Hourglas, Mario and Luigi series, Kirby Squeak Squad, and more. Although I enjoy these games, I suck at them.

I danced for 3 years and was in my high school's dance company. I really enjoy jazz, modern, and lyrical styles. Now whenever I see a dance show I can't help but stare at technique.

I also did Tae Kwon Do for 4 years in Ernie Reyes' West Coast Martial Arts. My instructors often focused on technique of kicks and punches. So now I'm obsessed at analyzing and appreciating beautiful kicks in martial arts movies. So beautiful it makes me cry, or so ugly that it makes me interrupt the quiet audience in the living room with a groan.

I also enjoy classical disney movies, musicals, sleeping, and sarcasm.
